Making a difference
This is all about making a difference. Can you? Would you? I go to town meetings and it seems all we do is point fingers. People are starving and we blame someone. Violence takes over a neighborhood and we blame someone. But I started to think aren't I someone. Maybe just maybe I could make a difference. People scoff at me. Tell me I'm idealistic. But maybe if there were a lot of us with this same attitude we could make a change.
I am someone...
I am someone...

A fantastic post. Our society has a habit of only showing the tail end of a success story. They love to show the fruit but rarely the labor. Everyone wants to think it is a short path that leads to success.
Larry and Sergey started Google and became billionaires, they are in the limelight, but it was the millions of people who built websites that made their business model successful.
YouTube would be nothing if it were not for the millions of individuals living out their dreams of being a movie producer... or a 1 minute comic.
The success of the internet is due to the fact that when millions of people come together, communicate and contribute in small ways, they end up creating something incredibly powerful.
Affecting change in our society works in the same fashion. It is not the magnitude of your contribution; it is the number of people that contribute that affect change.
This blog concerning the health of Bristol County is just such a contribution. It may seem small, however it can give anybody a voice to be somebody and that my friend, is the start of something very big.
